Transfer service
Somehow when my move day arrived, in the Einstein system that the install team uses, the old address and the new address were the same. This caused a nasty situation in which the installation team and the customer service team Blamed one another and neither could determine the solution. After NO LIE, 2 days of on hold on phone and in store with tech at my new house, I was told to cancel my account! Start again. BUT you have to wait 10 days before you’re connected. Work from home is sort of not possible so good luck.

Good afternoon user_1urr33 this is not the experience we want for you. We strive to make transferring service smooth. I know moving situations are all different. In your case were you looking to have service simultaneously briefly? Or were you looking to have service stopped at your previous residence and started at the new residence on the same day?
If the new residence you are moving to had Xfinity within the last year at least, a self-move or self-transfer should be an option, which would not require a 10-day wait. If a technician is needed for an installation, the time frame in that case certainly may vary.
