Transfer Service to Roommate

I’m moving, but my roommate is staying. I would like to transfer my account to her, so that she can keep our current service and equipment and have myself removed. Thank you.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@EG Thanks!

@user_371wyi Thanks for meeting us here about your intent to transfer your service to your roommate. The fastest way to get this accomplished is by both of you going to your nearest Xfinity Store with your IDs. This would only take a few minutes. You can schedule an appointment here:

https://www.xfinity.com/local/index.html to minimize the wait time.

If you prefer not to go to the store, we can get your information in a Direct Message, and get a ticket opened for you. You both would need to upload documents for the ticket. This process will normally take a few days, but is dependent on the caseload for the department working the ticket. If you would prefer to proceed here, please send us a Direct Message with your name and service address.

1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.

2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon.

3. Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon.

4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".

5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.

6. A "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.

7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.

8. Press Enter to send it.
