Transfer ownership of xfinity account to roommate

My roommate and I currently split the wifi bill, but I am moving out in September and he is planning to stay longer. How can I transfer the account over to him so that he can handle the equipment and billing, and remove my name from the contract and billing?

To be honest with you, it would be better if you cancelled the account and then let him set up a new account in his name; that way he can get new customer deals.  😉
