Transfer old carrier number to newly activated xfinity account

I bought a new phone and activated a new xfinity number. I still have my old phone with my old carrier number. Is it possible to transfer my old carrier number to the new xfinity mobile account?

Good afternoon user_e61170. We can certainly look into this and assist you further. I do have a couple of questions to help me better understand. Are you looking to add another line? Like bring the old phone, and phone number? Or are you just looking to have the old phone number replace the new phone number, on the new device? If you are looking to bring over a phone number from another carrier, there can be certain actions to complete first. You will want to make sure the old device is paid off, you will also want to make sure there is not a number lock on your old number with the former carrier. Please let me know if this helps.

Alright, thank you for the additional information. In that case, in order for me to assist further I will need more account information.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
