Transfer account ownership
I'm moving out of my apartment in around a month, and I'm looking to transfer our wifi service to the new tenants (who I know). I'm moving out of an Xfinity service area, so the website does not allow me to transfer/cancel the service at all. How can I transfer the service to the new tenants while making sure that our own service doesn't get interrupted?

To do this over social media, we can have an email sent to you with a link to upload a completed account change request form and any necessary supporting documents. The change of account ownership may result in the disconnection of the existing account and the creation of a new account, depending on the scenario. Please also allow three business days from your time of submission for a representative to contact you about completing your account ownership change request. Here is a great link to more details on this process here. Another option is you can go to the store to get this changed over. Which would you prefer?
