Hello @user_g5f67r thanks for reaching out on our Xfinity Forums.  In order to get an account changed over into someone else's name, the current account holder and the new account holder must both fill out the account change request form which can be found here: Link and then go into a local store together to provide the additional documentation as well as this form. We're not able to go to a physical store location. We need to be able to do this online or over the phone. How can we do that?

How to Send Us a Direct Message:

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.
  2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or visit Xfinity Direct Messaging.
  3. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon.
  4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
  5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  6. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
  7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
  8. Press Enter to send it.
