Too many calls & texts from Xfinity to confirm my service appointment

Is there a reason that Xfinity feels the need to repeatedly contact me to confirm my need for a service appointment?

I experienced an issue with picture and audio quality on 9/13/26, and was unable to resolve the issue through troubleshooting and requested a technician to come to my home. In just three days, Xfinity has contacted me through phone calls and texts no less than eight times to confirm my need for the technician.

Why? This is just beyond excessive. Does Xfinity think their customers are stupid? If my service was somehow restored, I'll inform you and cancel the appointment. Otherwise, Just plan on sending a tech as scheduled instead of pestering me about it.

user_3696ec, I apologize for the inconvenience. Our automated reminders are meant to make sure customers still need their scheduled appointment and to prevent unnecessary service visits. However, I understand that being contacted multiple times in a short period can feel excessive. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Your appointment will remain scheduled, and we look forward to getting your service issues repaired.
