Told to return equipment for another account

I just received an email telling me to return equipment and that you’re “sorry to see me go” but I’m not cancelling my account? And the account number listed isn’t my account number and trying to get in touch with someone is an actual joke.

user_fbz5c9 Thank you for reaching out to our community forum to let us know that you received an Email meant for someone else. I've seen this happen in the past when a customer makes a typo while entering their Email upon starting an account. Please send a direct message to Xfinity Support by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section. Include your name and address in the body of the message so I can help.
