This is unacceptable.
Yesterday morning 06/18, as we were leaving for work, we noticed an Xfinity Van + a white truck in the street, as a technician was working on the cable box right outside our house. At that exact time, our internet service stopped working. We assumed it was part of a routine procedure and that service would be restored shortly.
However, when we returned home later that day, our internet, Wi-Fi, Cameras and TV services were still completely down. We contacted Xfinity and, after going through all the troubleshooting steps, we were told that everything appeared to be fine on your end. We then reached out to the representative who originally sold us our service, and he informed us that the earliest available technician appointment is next Tuesday 06/23.
Our service interruption occurred immediately after an Xfinity technician was working on our neighborhood’s cables, which strongly suggests that this issue was caused by work performed by your company. It is unacceptable that we are being asked to wait several more days to resolve a problem that appears to have been created by Xfinity in the first place.
We expect this matter to be escalated immediately and request that an emergency technician be dispatched the same day or at the next available appointment to restore our internet, Wi-Fi, and TV services as quickly as possible.
