Hello @user_74g15s! Thank you for reaching out to us on our Xfinity Community Platform! Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and great job not clicking the link in that email. We always encourage a safety-first approach when it comes to unexpected emails asking you to click links or update account information.

What started in June 2025, customers with a comcast.net email address have been gradually invited to upgrade their email experience to Yahoo Mail at no additional cost. These invitations are being rolled out through 2026 and, when it's your turn, you'll see the invitation either in your inbox or when you securely sign in at https://connect.xfinity.com.

Based on the details you shared, we recommend deleting that email and not interacting with any links it contains. Please review our helpful article on identifying official emails from Comcast: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/yahoo-email-migration-safety

If you ever have questions about whether a message is legitimate, please err on the side of caution and verify through official Xfinity channels.

We appreciate your vigilance! If there's anything else we can help with, please let us know.
