There is an orange cable in my yard
Hi,
When we set up Xfinity service in 2018, an orange wire was run across our yard/driveway and to a new splitter attached to the side of the house. Our internet keeps going out intermittently recently, I think the cable has been damaged by being on the driveway.
Since then, I’ve figured out that the Xfinity “pole” is in the back corner of our yard. Also I discovered old wire on the back of our house, on the corner nearest to the pole, that looks like buried coaxial cable.
I’d like to get our cable wire buried, and before that, I’d like the permanent one to be routed to the back corner of my house, so that the length of buried cable will be much shorter and not have to go under my driveway. Also, I’d like the cable outlet in my house to be moved to my living room vs where the tech originally put it, so that I’ll get better WiFi signal.
How can I get this accomplished?

Hello user_0f6be5, thank you for reaching out to us here with this concern. This cable issue has certainly gone on for far too long and we wouldn't want anyone to get hurt tripping over the line so let's get a tech out to get the cable buried. To start your work order could you please send me a private message with your full name and street address?

Thank you. What about the issue of rerouting the cable like I want, to avoid going under the driveway/across the lot unnecessarily, will this be done first?
