There has got be a way to at least give us an ETA!
SOS from Springfield Oregon, 97478
Storm ended last Wednesday night, ice melted Thursday, all lines back up and power restored to my area by Saturday morning. STILL NO INTERNET OR EVEN AN ETA 8 DAYS LATER. Haven't even seen a crew on the side of town in fact. Not one truck at any time.
Is the local node or whatever it's called just totally broken? Give us some kind of info. We can't call the store direct. The phone live gives no answer. The app gives no answer. The text updates give no answer.
There has got to be something they can tell us besides the canned platitudes of "we will repair once it's safe. Thanks for bearing with us" insulting line. There is THOUSANDS of people out here in Springfield Oregon and you folks are giving us nothing! No answers, just insulting lame canned responses. I simply want to hear something that sounds like somebody knows something... Crazy that it seems like nobody can give us any sort of answer! SOMEBODY has to know SOMETHING

Update - just drove through most neighborhoods between Centennial and the east edge of town. Took me two hours.
DID NOT SEE ONE XFINITY/COMCAST CREW WORKING ANYWHERE EAST OF 42ND. Centurylink is out in force, talked to the guys working and they said they have most of their customers up at this point, they are down to repairing breaks at the home level now. Ziply is out in force too. They are even back to laying their fiber underground for their expansion.
This is pathetic. I'm starting to think they simply sent all their crews to other places, apparently more important places that they actually care about.
