the worst experience I have ever had - the ai, the stores the whole thing is a bait and switch scam [Edited]
I went to an xfinity store - we had cable, internet and a landline for over 25 years - wanted to switch my tracfone to xfinty mobile and get my wife her first phone using the landline number which we liked, then internet and xumo - no problem, right? We made an appointment which is a joke since it doesn't matter it is first come first served, after waiting, finally got to our order - two phones, internet, streaming, easy, right? Nope, well it seemed at first , guy says let's start from scratch it will make things easier under a new name, say a middle name or maiden name, we said okay let's start fresh...then the nightmare begins. We ordered two phones, as they said tracfone would not release my phone, okay got the port code to transfer my number to a xfinity motorola razr and bought a galaxy for my wife using the treasured landline number (303) - easy, right? NO IT BECAME CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM [Edited: "Language"]! The account became split somehow - mobile on old account, internet, streaming on new - the promotions that were promised (50.00 internet for 5 years, free mobile line and a protection plan for one phone gratis) disappeared. My phone had a esim already installed which they used - not the number I ported in at the store, meanwhile the first visit turned into, come back tomorrow to finalize everything, sounds good, right? Wait until later...anyway went back set up everything turns out they added the phones to old account and internet and streaming to new account. Two bills, zero promotions. I went through the AI [Edited: "Language"] until we had to go back to the store, they acted like they fixed everything and said call this number to switch accounts - over four hours on phone switching between departments, four store visits making appointments they did not keep and it is STILL UNRESOLVED! I am getting mystery charges, have two accounts , a mystery phone number they keep trying to text, this is the worst of the [Edited: "Language"] worst - and no way to actually contact someone who know what they are doing. I am so fed up.
