The impossibility of being an Xfinity customer
One must wonder...how does Tom sleep at night? My Xfinity service was installed yesterday. After 3.5 hours of the technician being onsite (this is NOT plug-n-play!) and requiring my attention at multiple points, several aspects of my service does not work. Why is accessing a live human being @ Comcast so challenging?? After waiting on hold today while a tech support person tried to resolve my issues, I was transferred to another queue (without being notified of this by the tech person) to wait for a customer service executive. So I'm still on hold and have invested another 3 hours of my time today trying to resolve technical, Internet, and billing issues. So does Tom just not have enough people of what?? Jamming 1Gig Internet speed means nothing if customer service is deplorable. And yes to the other poster who lamented the sheer impossibility of any elderly person having any chance of dealing with Comcast. The offers are confusing, access to real (human) support is barely existent - and only available to those who have the extraordinary patience to WAIT, WAIT, WAIT - and then WAIT some more. Hello, Tom!!! - it is essential to figure out the customer service problems your company faces (I'm assuming you are paid big bucks to find solutions) - and here's why...I've been a customer for less than 24 hours and would/will make a FAST EXIT to the door to find an alternative. (And think how many people I will tell about my experience.) TOM, PLEASE HELP US!!!!!!!
