Texts and emails asking me to return Xfinity equipment

Hello, I canceled my Xfinity service approximately 2 months ago and recently began receiving texts and emails from Xfinity asking that I return some equipment (4k Cable Converter Wifi). When I click on the link provided in the Xfinity text (from their official 266-278 text number), it takes me to a page for me to select the equipment I need to return, but there is no equipment in the system for me to select (screenshot below). I believe these communications are being sent in error and I would like them to stop before I am charged an erroneous fee (something Xfinity is notorious for doing). Any assistance would be appreciated, thank you.

It is worth noting that the email communications are being sent from "returns@completerecoverycorp.com" which seems like a scammer posing as Xfinity.

Good afternoon user_21ci2w. I will be more than happy to look into this for you. I can review the account to ensure, it is not showing any unreturned equipment. If it is indeed a spam account, we would be unable to stop that from our end, but I would advise blocking the email address. First, let me look into this for you.

Please send us a direct chat message with your full name and complete service address to “Xfinity Support”. To do so, click on the chat icon located at the top right of this forums page.

To send a "Direct Message" to Xfinity Support:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or  https://forums.xfinity.com/direct-messaging

Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there

As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list

An "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line

Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window and press Enter to send it.
