Text Updates About Outages
I feel Comcast could do much, much better in regard to sending text updates about outages. My internet went out last night unexpectedly around midnight. I logged into the Xfinity app to sign up for text updates about when service would be restored. This morning at 8:49 AM ET I received a text update saying that my service was restored at 2:28 AM ET.
6 hours later!
Why?? Realistically the text should have been sent within 15 minutes of the service being restored. This has to be better!! Too much of our lives require internet access and we need to know sooner, much sooner, when these outages happen.
