"Test your whole home network" unavailable during area outage + email verification question
Hello.
There seems to be an outage impacting other customers in my area and because of this for over 24 hours the Xfintiy app has not allowed me to use the 'Test your whole home network' feature to test the speed to my gateway. Is this expected behavior during a local outage, and is there another reliable way to test the speed directly to my gateway?
Can you help me verify whether an email I received is genuinely from Xfinity?

Thanks for reaching out to us, we do apologize for any inconvenience, if there's a service interruption in the area you won't be able to use the test your home network feature.
The Xfinity app should give you the option to set up a text message notification for when the services are back up and running. The app should also give you the information on when services are expected to be back up and running
