Terrible service and insane prices
We are currently paying over $150 dollars for internet. This is an extremely high amount compared to others in my area and other providers. We were previously in a contract but once that contract ran out, the price jumped through the roof. I am constantly getting ads in the mail advertising internet starting at just $25/$30 dollars a month. I went onto their website and shopped the available deals in my area. I was able to get the same internet speed I currently had (400) for only $65 per month TOTAL for 24 months. This included a xfinity modem+router combo that was $0 per month for 24 months. I called xfinity to take part in this and the experience was terrible. At first after explaining my situation, the call was dropped and I did not receive a call back. I then had to call again and wait in the queue again. Once I was able to again explain my situation, I was told they could lower my bill to 120 something. I asked multiple times why i could not get the available internet deal that is advertised on their website. I got inconsistent stories as to why I couldn’t. First I was told that there are restrictions that apply and it was not available in my area or at this time. I explained that it absolutely was as I put in all my information and this is what their website told me. I was then told that this deal was only available to new customers not existing customers. I understand if I was in a set deal contract already however my previous contract has lapsed so I do not know any reason why I could not take part in this deal. I asked the representative many times how it was fair that I was a loyal customer for over 3 years now and was having to pay over twice what they were advertising for others. I was shown absolutely no value for staying with the company. I ultimately asked to speak with a supervisor as I was very frustrated at this point. I was told that it would take a while for one to be available. I waited about 15 minutes and then asked if a supervisor could call me back once available. I was told yes this was fine but it would take an hour or so. I said thank you and moved on. That was 2 days ago and I have not heard from someone since. I am appalled at the service that I have received and my bill is still over $150 dollars a month.

Hello @user_sx1fuj how's it going? I completely understand where you are coming from. I know it always feels great to get the best deal possible! I will do my best to review the tendencies you will notice when you use our website and have Xfinity services.
When you go to www.Xfinity.com you will see introductory offers until you sign in. Next to the promotional offer, when you select “Pricing and Other Info” you will see communication that says “Not available in all areas. New residential customers only.” Offers do vary per market. Once you log into your account you can see the deals you are eligible for once you go to “Change Plan.”
I recommend reviewing offers this way since your introductory promotion expired. We always want to make picking services easy, and we are always confident in the value we offer. There are definitely offers that will give you internet for under $150. Of course, the speed you have and the other services you choose will be a factor in your final bill.
If you have any specific questions or concerns about how to manage your account please let me know. The Xfinity app is a concise and comprehensive way to get this done. We always advocate for our apps :)
