Terrible Internet Service

I’m writing to formally raise a complaint regarding the ongoing Internet service disruptions in our neighborhood over the past several weeks. The connection has been extremely unreliable—dropping intermittently throughout the day to the point where several of us on the street have created a group chat just to compare outage times.

These issues have had a real impact. During a recent job interview conducted over video, my screen froze multiple times, and I had to ask the interviewer to repeat questions—something that was both embarrassing and stressful. Like many of my neighbors, I work from home, so these recurring outages have made it difficult to stay connected and productive.

I understand from Xfinity representatives that network upgrades are underway, but no one has been able to confirm when the work will be completed or at what times we can expect interruptions. Without a clear schedule, it’s impossible for us to plan our workdays effectively.

A technician visited both my home and my neighbor’s recently and confirmed that everything inside the homes appeared fine. However, within hours of their visit, the service began dropping again, which suggests the issue is on the network side, not within individual households.

I would appreciate an update on the following:

  1. The expected completion date for the ongoing upgrades in our area.

  2. A schedule or timeframe for planned maintenance or outages.

  3. Any temporary steps Xfinity can take to stabilize service in the meantime.

This has been an ongoing issue for several weeks now, and the lack of reliable communication has made it particularly frustrating. We would appreciate prompt action and transparency so that we can plan accordingly.
