Terrible customer service

Who do you call or contact to file a complaint about terrible customer service from a customer service representative? On January 30th at 4:54pm until 5:14pm from Oak Lawn, IL, I called Comcast to try to get a discount or downgrade my services because of my lack of employment. Instead of the customer agent trying to help me she kept trying to sale me more service. I explained that I was referred by a government agency caseworker to call, and that I was unemployed and couldn’t afford anymore services. She continued to try to sale me more service even prompting me to contact my mother whom has me on her phone plan to change her service to allow me to take advantage of the promotion. Again, I explained to her that people were assisting me with my phone bill and didn’t want to change their service for me because they had a discount through their employer. I told her once before a representative and I tried this with my mom and she said, no. She continues to try to sell me services. I asked her why does she continue to try to sell me service that I can’t afford? It is like me going in the Chanel store and they are trying to sell me something I can’t afford. If I had a job, I would pay. When I had a job I paid, so why would you keep trying to sell me something I keep telling her I can’t afford. She says to me, why would you go to the Chanel store if you couldn’t afford it? I told her this is just an example I was using and it was very rude of her to say that to me. I am calling you about help with my service and you continue to keep asking me the same thing. Help that I was told that you guys offer. She ask again why don’t I want to take advantage of the promotion? I asked her if I would have to repeat myself over by telling her I can’t afford it and my mom don’t want to change her service. She continues to try to sell me service and keeps getting off the phone briefly and giggling. I asked her what is so funny? Every time I try to tell you about my situation you keep laughing. Can I speak with your supervisor or someone over you? The phone hangs up. She calls back at 5:14pm to say the call got disconnected and a supervisor wasn’t available at the moment. I asked her how do I make a customer service complaint and I am now recording the call? She continues to laugh. I ask for her supervisor again. She ask why and says she can’t let me speak to a supervisor until I tell her why? I say to her again, because you have terrible customer service skills and you keep repeating and asking me the same stuff over and over again and laughing at my situation. She explains that it was the sales department so naturally they sale stuff and I’m the one call the sales department. I told her why did you listen to my full story and knew you couldn’t help me? Why didn’t you just transfer me over to the department that could, and that I needed to speak with someone over her because she keeps being rude? She basically told me I should have listened to the prompt and not pick the sales department. I told her I’m pretty sure she knows that getting to a customer service representative isn’t easy with all the recording and prompts and customers might not know what department handles what. It is basically difficult getting through to someone and very time consuming. She continues to laugh and eventually the phone hangs up around 5:30pm. I call back around 5:33pm to find out how can I file a complaint about a rude customer service agent. The next representative makes it seem as if he cared so much and would try to escalate the issue and find out who this person was until about 6:08pm. He basically gets back on the phone and confirms that I didn’t know the representative’s name and beg me to just let it go and to not get her in trouble because she could lose her job and he’s pretty sure she was very sorry. This was the worse customer service experience I’ve ever had with a company that I have been paying money to for service for over 8yrs. Sad part is there is no way to complain to someone about the service. This is crazy. I am actually trying to figure out how to switch to another service. I have never been so humiliated and treated as if I didn’t matter in my entire life. The craziest part is that the employees are getting away with it. I really would love for someone to hear that call.
