Terrible Customer service at Schaumburg IL Location
Visited Schaumburg Illinois location to port my number to Xfinity. The person ( calling him person as he has no idea about porting a number) told me I have to wait for expert. Waited for 2+ hours. After more than two hours a person who checked me in called me to handle the issue. He had no clue what he was doing but after 15-20 minutes he suggested he won’t be able to port the number at this time. By this time my number stopped working. So my number was not ported to Xfinity and was not working with old carrier. So the agent gave a brilliant (sarcastic) idea to get a new number. As I didn’t want to be without phone I had to accept the option. I felt like cheated. I will not recommend to use the Schaumburg Illinois location.

@user_4w97zh Thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums. This is never the experience we want for our valued customers. I know I have had my number for 10+ years, and the thought of having to update it with schools, Dr offices, etc. is absolutely terrifying to me. Can you please confirm if this number port was for a cellular line, or for a landline phone?
