terrible customer assistance

there is an outage in my street because the replaced a telephone pole and didnt reconnect the internet lines and xfinity assistant wont let me contact a real person or even acknowledge that nothing is being fixed until there is no outage but it wont let me call and report the problem because it wont let me speak with someone

@user_loed17 Thank you for reaching out to us, Are your services currently impacted? the experience you mentioned with trying to report this is not one we wish for anyone to have. You can also see if it's been reported by our website https://www.xfinity.com/support/statusmap

no one has helped me to any degree and its been out for almost 24hrs with no one out to fix it

user_loed17 I can see how this would be frustrating. I'm happy to take a look to see if there is an ETA on the service interruption, and then we can go from there. To begin, please send a Direct Message with your name and service address. 
 
Click "Sign In" if necessary. 
Click the "Direct Messaging" icon. 
Click the "Start new conversation" (pencil and paper) icon. 
In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support". 
As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list. 
An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line. 
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window. 
Press Enter to send it.
