user_uvj3og, Great question. Congrats on the move by the way. We would be happy to transfer the service or set up a new account at your new address if you are moving out of state to an XFINITY location. How does this sound?
You would have to return the current modem only if your location was not a Wi-Fi Ready location where the modem was preinstalled for you when you moved in. Was the modem already preinstalled for you and ready to activate services when you first moved in at your current location?
