Temporary service reactivation was supposed to end, but billing continued

I’m looking for help with an account issue involving a temporary reactivation of my service.

I live overseas and previously had an arrangement on my Xfinity account where I remained a customer and kept the Xfinity equipment, but internet and TV service were not active and I was not being charged for regular service.

When I returned to the U.S. temporarily, I asked Xfinity to reactivate my internet for only a short period — approximately one or two months. I specifically made clear to the representative that I did not want the regular service to continue after that period.

The representative assured me that the reactivation would only be temporary and that it would not continue afterward.

However, the service and billing have continued beyond the period I agreed to.

I would like someone to review the account history and the notes from the representative, return the account to the same inactive arrangement I had before the temporary reactivation, and review any charges that resulted from the service continuing after it was supposed to end.

I’m happy to provide my account information privately once an Xfinity employee responds.
