Temporary Move
I live in an apartment building and have Xfinity internet service. My landlord needs to do repairs in my apartment that will last about 4 weeks. During that time, I would temporarily live in an apartment in the same building. Can I temporarily transfer my internet service to that apartment and then return it to my permanent apartment when the construction is done? I do not want to cancel my current service contract for a couple of weeks, get a new one for a couple of weeks, and then get a new contract when I return to my permanent apartment. That would be a silly waste of time and effort. Please advise as to my options. Thank you.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hey there, @CA2016! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums! I completely understand the concerns with moving temporary and then moving back to the old location. We can set up a transfer to the temporary location, and move the service back once you get back into the old apartment. It would maintain your current promotion/offer and it would be a simple move.
You can also sign-up for NOW Internet which is a prepaid service for 1-month if you want to not go through with moving the services to the temporary apartment. You can find the NOW Internet details here. Please let us know how you would like to proceed.
