"Temp" Comcast cable strung across my lawn to my neighbor's house for 18 months is a liability hazard and I cannot get anyone to fix it!!

18 months ago, a Comcast technician came to my front door and asked if they could run a temporary cable across my lawn to address my neighbor's broadband issues.  Since I like my neighbor, I naively agreed.  The technician said it would get buried within 2 weeks.  18 months later and after NUMEROUS attempts to get Comcast to address the problem it is still there.  It is a legal liability and it needs to be addressed ASAP.  Between my neighbor and I, we have called customer service at least 12-15 times...and it is still there.  If this is not addressed soon, the cable may get run over accidently by a lawnmower.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

@user_68wrhy Welcome to our community forum and thank you @EG for moving the post for more visibility. Those temporary lines are usually taken care of pretty quickly, so I'm really sorry to hear you've been having trouble with it for so long! I'll dispatch a technician to get a permanent line buried and keep our thread open until you confirm that the cable is underground.
