Technician who just left

Yesterday we had a technician here for around two hours. His name is Jose. He arrived around 4:30. We had had intermittent Internet, so I had called customer service who were fantastic and they had Jose come out the same day. He left frustrated because he could not get the issue resolved. I tipped him $20 for his help. When he did leave, we had zero Internet as opposed to intermittent. I called customer service again this morning and spoke to Chloe. She was fantastic and has me scheduled for another technician today. When I asked her why the technician left, she stated that the technician wrote that we were not home and he could not work on the Internet. This frustrates me because I tipped Jose and I also took a picture of him through my open garage standing at his truck because our neighbors wanted us to come over and I was showing them why we could not. I even went up in the attic and pulled the wire to the attic opening so he could cut it and re-splice it. He replaced a filter in the box outside the home And even left the ground wire unattached. I work from home and rather have intermittent Internet and have a technician come shut me down and say that I was never home even after I tipped him. Not the quality of a person I want in my home.
