Technician to connect new cable line to service

We are almost finished with a home renovation.  On or around September Xfinity came to run a new cable line through that conduit to a junction box in our garage.  Now it’s time for the low voltage contractor to connect our network, modem, etc.  He discovered that when they ran the new cable to the jbox they did not connect it to the line on the pole.  We are waiting for that connection so we can move forward.  We are scheduled to move back to the house on May 15.  At this point everything will be complete but we will not have any internet or tv service.
I have called numerous times and the staff is not sure what to do.  Please can you help me?

Hello, @user_ce3db6 how are you? Our team can help! If we need to get your service working we should schedule an appointment to repair service. If service is working we will create the correct maintenance work order. When you have a moment send your name and service address to "Xfinity Support." You can  do this by using the Direct Messaging icon at the top of the page.

I’m sorry I’m not sure how to do this.  Can you explain the direct messaging icon?

No problem 👍 Once signed in follow these steps:

-Click the "Direct Message" icon (square chat icon in the upper right corner of your screen next to the bell icon)

-Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon

-Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list that appears, and the "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line

-Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window

-Press Enter to send it

We are temporarily in a rental home while the rehab work is being done on our permanent house.
We need the pole service connected at our permanent house so they can have access to the internet to set up our network at that house.

It has been months and we just found out it wasn’t connected.  I hope the service department can help us get this done quickly.
