Technician screw the Internet wire directly to my Main gas line

Hello, how do you rectify this situation?

When I first moved into my new home back in September 2023, I called upon a technician to come and install the internet services, he came and ran the cable from outside of my house, where the main gas pipe is there. he screws directly into main pipe and gas has been leaking since then.

I am selling my house, and an inspector came out to inspect the house and found the gas leak, if he would have not come then I would have never known about this. I have already opened up the damage claim ticket, but there is no response, and this is very dangerous situation which needed to be fixed immediately.

@user_ln6o0h Hi. Thank you so much for reporting this to us and having a claim request submitted. I would be happy to help out and make sure that this is being processed urgently. Have you been in contact with the gas company by chance? Since this is causing a leak, they will have to be notified.

Yes, gas company checked and let me know the gas leak is near where the screw is tied in directly to gas pipe.
