Technician keeps delaying arrival

I’ve just moved into a new apartment and the coax cable ports are not functioning. It took talking to almost 10 agents to figure this out. The final agent scheduled a technician to visit my apartment on the 24th (today) at 12-2pm. I woke up early to be prepared for their arrival. Lo and behold, the technician did not arrive, and still hasn’t as 6:34 pm. Six whole hours after their scheduled arrival. 30 minutes after their first scheduled arrival, I got in. touch with customer support to figure out what was going on, and I got a different ETA, which was 4:20. The technician did NOT arrive at that time. I waited another 30 mins to get in touch again. The ETA was then changed to 5:50. As you can tell, the technician still didn’t arrive, and I have gotten ZERO notifications from Xfinity all the while. Why is the communication so poor? A simple notification or text from the actual technician would be greatly appreciated, and would show that the customers are actually cared for. Right now it feels like I’m paying for a service I can’t even use and that is frustrating. I’m honestly considering switching service providers because this is ridiculous. I specifically chose today for the technician to come here because there is a terrible snowstorm coming tomorrow and I won’t be able to get this done for a while after tomorrow.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.
