Technician caused outage

Technicians came out to my apartment complex yesterday to upgrade the entire apartment complex internet. When they were done and said service was turned back on, it was not working obviously no fault of mine since it was working just fine before the technicians arrived. I went through all the troubleshooting steps to make sure my modem was working, spoke with an agent who suggested I swap my modem for a new one, to no avail. I still have no Internet and now they are telling me I can have a technician come out in 4 days. Mind you that's my entire weekend gone with no Internet at no fault of my own. And I am 100% sure I am not the only person who has no Internet in this complex now.

The technicians should be able to come out here promptly and fix their mistake

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

user_qh0i8x Thank you so much for reaching out about your wait for a technician. Interruptions are never what we like to see, especially after work was done in an area. If you are not the only resident impacted, I urge you to also reach out. The more customers impacted, the better visibility we get on an issue to help escalate the process. As for a sooner appointment, even with issues like this, we do have to consider the customers with appointments already set up in the area that may have been waiting up to two weeks for an appointment. We offer a wait list to help with openings as they become available due to cancelations. You can check out how to set up a waitlist option here.
