Technician access
Is it normal practice for a technician working on a neighbors house to climb the fence to access another yard without knocking on the door of that house to let them know what he’s doing? My dogs just ran inside scared from being outside and when I looked outside there was a technician in our yard messing with the utility box. As soon as he saw me look outside and before I could react, he immediately jumped back over the fence and back into our neighbors yard. The utility box wasn’t securely closed all of the way either. I don’t care that they’re having work done and I understand that box goes to multiple houses…but I am deeply bothered by the fact he didn’t knock on my door to let me know he needed access and to clear the yard of my dogs. My dogs could have been aggressive especially with some random stranger jumping the fence into our yard.

Hello jovigirl333! Thank you for reaching out to us on our Xfinity Forums for help with the technician accessing your property. I'm sorry for any distress that the technician caused your pups and yourself that someone was in your yard without contacting you first. I would be happy to connect with our local technicians to help ensure we are making our neighbors aware when we need to access their properties. I will also ask have them come back to secure the utility box.
Can you please send us a direct message with your name and home address? From there I can help make sure this is addressed.
