Technical Escalation: Requirements for 3/19 Install - Battle Ground
I had a technician out on 3-15-26 from 2:00–4:00 PM. He barely spoke English and was unable to tell me the reason for his visit. He laughed at me when I asked him questions and was very condescending.
I have a new appointment on March 19th from 1:00–3:00 PM. Due to the bad experience last time, can someone who speaks good English and is knowledgeable please come out to do the tech visit? After that last visit, I feel very upset. I need someone who will actually listen to me the customer.
I do have some very important/critical requirements:
I need the XB8 gateway due to having a home with metal siding.
I need the entire run from the street to my home to be hand-dug. No automatic tools can be used because I have copper lines from CenturyLink that are not on the 811 map.
These two items must be documented. Please reach out to me, Comcast, so that we can get this resolved.

@DOUG_3 The equipment provided depends on the level of service you're subscribed to. Is there a specific reason you believe the XB8 to be the best fit opposed to our other models for metal siding? We would not be able to guarantee how the drop line is installed as those jobs are completed through subcontractors.
