Technical Escalation: Requirements for 3/19 Install - Battle Ground

I had a technician out on 3-15-26 from 2:00–4:00 PM. He barely spoke English and was unable to tell me the reason for his visit. He laughed at me when I asked him questions and was very condescending.
I have a new appointment on March 19th from 1:00–3:00 PM. Due to the bad experience last time, can someone who speaks good English and is knowledgeable please come out to do the tech visit? After that last visit, I feel very upset. I need someone who will actually listen to me the customer.
I do have some very important/critical requirements:
I need the XB8 gateway due to having a home with metal siding.
I need the entire run from the street to my home to be hand-dug. No automatic tools can be used because I have copper lines from CenturyLink that are not on the 811 map.

These two items must be documented. Please reach out to me, Comcast, so that we can get this resolved.

@DOUG_3 The equipment provided depends on the level of service you're subscribed to. Is there a specific reason you believe the XB8 to be the best fit opposed to our other models for metal siding? We would not be able to guarantee how the drop line is installed as those jobs are completed through subcontractors.

@XfinityBradM Please explain the process to me. 1 contractor lays the line down on the grass and then another contractor comes out to bury it isn't that correct? Also I need the XB8 due to inference within my home the older models will not work well in my situation so I'm formally requesting the XB8. Also I have active copper lines from Centurylink that would be destroyed if one of your crews uses automatic tools. So the Burial request must be listed as manual hand dig only

The process is outlined within our underground cable installation/replacement article, and states: You’re responsible for marking where any sprinkler system, electric dog fences, and/or private lighting, electric or gas lines are located to prevent them from being damaged. The copper lines you're describing are either your or the service provider's responsibility to get marked or so they are not damaged during bury process. If a new line needs to be installed and buried, it will first be placed on top of the ground while waiting for another crew to bury it at a later date. The crews dispatched will work within their means to avoid affecting those pre-installed copper lines assuming they are marked properly. Our awesome installation technician will determine the needs for your home and provide the best equipment to ensure your service is fast and reliable before taking off.
