Tech removed the cover from the utility box in my yard and left

About an hour and a half ago a person that may have been and Xfinity tech (drove a white pickup truck and had a florescent yellow vest on) removed the cover on the cable utility box in my front yard and then left. The cover is mostly covering the equipment now but is sitting about 5 inches above the base. Will anyone becoming back to close the cover and secure the utility box?

Thank you for connecting with us here in our community about your concerns with the utility box, @user_cevnu9. I'm sure the tech will be back to close it. We'll be happy to stay with you here until it is closed. If they forget, we can also get someone out there to close it. We'll follow up with you in a couple of hours.

The guy never came back. I went out and pushed the cover down, but it is not secured in any way. Not sure if it needs to be.

Thank you for putting the cover back on. Is it damaged in any way?

That's good to hear! Generally, our pedestals aren't locked. I can't speak to why the technician handled things the way they did or when they might return, but if you're experiencing any connection issues, I can certainly help troubleshoot. If needed, I can also schedule someone to come out and take a look.

Are you currently having any connection issues?

I'm not having any connection issues. We're probably fine at this point. Thx for your responses.
