Tech came out and said that exterior line to condo needs to be replaced but that Comcast can't do it
My wifi has been dropping very frequently. I called CS and they were not able to diagnose any problems over the phone. Made an appointment for a tech to come out. Within 5 minutes in my condo, the tech said that the issue was the exterior cable -- the connection from the box serving my condo building to my unit. He said that Comcast no longer works on exteriors of condo buildings (I'm in DC, if that's relevant). He told me that a company "HelloTech" now does it. I called HelloTech and they also do not work on exteriors -- only interiors. HelloTech mentioned that they thought Postwire did it. Postwire doesn't work on condos.
So, I have nonfunctional internet, at least for my needs working from home, and Comcast is refusing to fix the problem with their own coax line. Please help.

I have a feeling I'm headed into the same trap. No solution so far. Your local Comcast office might contract with a 3rd party company to dig a trench from the box to the outside of your building. Completely unclear how to get it through your wall. I think HelloTech is supposed to drill a hole to get the cable from outside to inside your unit.
Keep calling Comcast for technician visits. It might cost them enough that they would come up with something.
