Switching providers ASAP

I would never recommend Xfinity. After three years as a customer, I’ve had enough of their deceptive billing practices and lack of accountability.

I received an email saying my loyalty discount was ending and that my bill would increase to $124. I expected some change, but nearly double the cost was shocking—so I called to ask why and to see if there were any loyalty discounts available. The agent told me I wouldn’t be charged the full $124 and that my new bill would be $80. That turned out to be completely false.

Not only was I still charged the full $124, but when I called back, I was tossed between two agents before being told I had been paying for six security cameras—something I was never told about, never agreed to, and never received any equipment for. It was never once disclosed during the entire three years I was paying for them.

When I asked for a refund, the first agent said they could lower my next bill to $60. I pressed further, and the second agent said it would only be $15. Despite all these back-and-forth promises, I’m still being charged $124, with no refund and no resolution.

The inconsistency, lack of transparency, and failure to take ownership of the issue has made it clear I cannot trust Xfinity. I feel taken advantage of, and I urge others to review their bills closely and question everything. This has been an incredibly disappointing experience.
