Switch from Xfinity internet to NOW internet.

Hi,

I would like to switch from Xfinity internet to NOW internet. From what I’ve read, I need to set up a pending disconnect for my current account before signing up for NOW.

Could I get some assistance with this? Thank you.

Concern moved here to the Customer Service help section for greater exposure to Comcast corporate employees (The Digital Care Team) for assistance.

Hello, @user_441c4f thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. You've contacted the right place, I can help with getting the postpaid account disconnection set up. We would want the order set out 10 days, this allows you to place the order for the Now prepaid service on the website: https://www.xfinity.com/now/internet and give time to receive the NOW internet getting started kit before the other service stops.

I'm glad to see that our wonderful Forum expert @EG was able to move your post and bring this to my attention. If you don't mind me asking, is there a reason you're looking to move from the post paid to the prepaid service?

Yes, the reason being that NOW doesn't have a data cap. I'm otherwise happy with my current service and the price difference is only $5. (I realize that new Xfinity customers can purchase a plan with no data cap for $40 for five years).

Thanks
