switch from business to residential

How do I update the type of service for an existing address?  It was formerly business but has now been converted to a residence so I need residential service.  Thank you.

user_kfgrzo is the Comcast Business account closed? We would need to call our Comcast Business team to close the business account. They can be reached at (800) 391-3000. Then we can open a residential account at the location.

The address never had service.  It just shows as a business address when I try to set up residential service.  I need to get the address changed to residential so I can set up service.  Do I still call the business account department even though there currently is no service at the address?

Just send us a direct message, so we can take a closer look at the address and help 👍You can use the Direct Messaging icon at the top of the page to send your full name and the full service address to "Xfinity Support."
