support for exterior repairs

I signed up with Xfinity more than five years ago. The installer attached the exterior box too close to a spigot and reaching into the crevice to turn the faucet on and off cut our hands so we rarely use it. The faucet started leaking but the plumber couldn't get to it to replace it because of the box. I recently noticed that the carpet inside is wet and it appears to be getting worse.  The automated system doesn't address these types of issues so I'm asking for any suggestions you may have. Thank you.

Good afternoon @user_04caab, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums regarding your concerns with your exterior box. I see that its located too close to the faucet and am sorry to see there is now water damage being caused because the plumber is unable to fix it due to the box's location. We can submit a ticket to our local team to see if it can be relocated. To get started on this process, can you please send us a Direct Message with your first and last name along with the service address on the account?

To send a "Direct Message" ("Private") message:

Click "Sign In" if necessary

  • Click the "Direct Message chat" icon
  • Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon
  • Type "Xfinity Support" in the "To:" line and select "Xfinity Support" from the drop-down list which appears. The "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line
  • Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
  • Press Enter to send it

We look forward to working with you further.
