Suffering - How long does it take to get a tap working
We just recently moved to a new build. Where Xfinity is showing as providing service. However, we've had two techs come in in the span of two weeks and both have left saying the tap is not installed. I have called/chatted with xfinity but I have not been able to make much progress. I got an escalation ticket however no one has contacted me. I am struggling as I depend on having internet to do my job. Is there any way/any person that can answer how long this will take?

@user_2kd55t Our team can definitely understand how stressful and irritating it is to have issues with your internet connection and getting the service installed. We all work from home on this end of the screen so we can completely relate to how it causes you to make arrangements that you didn't expect. Unfortunately, these types of requests can take anywhere from 14-120 days to get service connected. The multiple factors depend on a lot of local companies that we coordinate with before a service line is connected to our infrastructure. Permits, street bores, pole installations, etc. We understand having more information about the situation sometimes alleviates frustration and we can dive into your account to possibly provide some, if available. If you could please send me a DM with your first and last name along with your full-service address, we can get started.
