Suck in a TV Provider Authentication Loop on Fire TV/Stick

Every app I try to sign in with Xfinity credentials shows the authentication was accepted but then brings back up the page to choose from a tv provider. ( ESPN NBC SYFY and so on...) After searching the web I found this has been a problem for people at least 2yrs now. No one has a fix for this either. I have multiple Fire Sticks and some devices have no issues but others do not work. This has become very frustrating to say the least. Does anyone have any suggestions? All are fully up to date and credentials are fine.

Hello, thank you for reaching out to us. I understand you have concerns regarding logging into third-party apps with your Xfinity credentials. What happens if you log into our Xfinity Streaming App, are you able to watch the networks listed without any issues through our Xfinity Streaming App?

@XfinityXavier​ There is no trouble with the xfinity streaming app. The issue is only when trying to log into an app such as ESPN or NBC or any other channel app within my xfinity tv service. If you do a search online you will see plenty of people having the same issue going back a few years now. It will confirm the login but doesn’t truly log into the app and loops back to pick a tv provider all over again.

Thank you for those details. Are you able to ensure you do not have any pop-up blockers on, or clearing the cookies, and cache to enable the launch?

I no longer work for Comcast.
