Subject: Serious Service Interruption Incident and Resulting Damages - Urgent
Dear Xfinity Team,
I am writing to express my deep concern and disappointment over a recent incident that has had serious consequences for my safety and well-being.
On 12/08/2023, at approximately 11:30 AM, my internet service was mistakenly interrupted due to a mix-up where my connection was cut instead of another customer’s. This error by your technical team left my home security system inoperative, as it relies on a stable internet connection.
Regrettably, this service interruption coincided with a burglary in my apartment. The lack of internet connectivity to my security system was a direct factor that prevented timely detection and response to this illegal intrusion.
Furthermore, after reporting the issue to your customer service, I was assured that a technician would visit my home to resolve the issue on the same day. However, no one attended, leaving my home vulnerable and without necessary security.
This incident has not only resulted in the loss of my personal belongings but has also created a sense of insecurity and distrust towards your service. Given that this error was directly caused by an action of your team, I expect Xfinity to take responsibility for the consequences of this negligent act.
I request an immediate explanation of why this error occurred and how Xfinity plans to remedy the situation, including but not limited to compensation for the damages suffered due to the service interruption and the burglary that occurred as a direct result of this negligence.
I appreciate your immediate attention to this critical matter and await a prompt response and a fair resolution.
Sincerely,
[paula]
