Subject: FORMAL DEMAND: Property Damage and Escalation – Account# [EDIT: #] – Antioch, TN

Date: August 20, 2026
To Whom It May Concern at Comcast/Xfinity Corporate Escalation,
I am writing to formally demand the immediate repair and restoration of my private property located at [EDIT: address].
On or about July 3, 2026 an Xfinity installation crew cut through my sidewalk and concrete driveway without permission. Your worker claimed they spoke to someone who approved the cutting. However, I have verified with the home builder’s office that absolutely no authorization was granted. I was never consulted, nor did I grant permission to alter my property.
Xfinity has since closed property damage complaint [EDIT: Ticket #] , falsely marking it as "resolved." The damage remains completely unaddressed, devaluing my property and creating a structural and safety hazard.
Please be advised of the following:
  1. Demand for Repair: I demand that Xfinity deploy a licensed concrete contractor to repair and restore my driveway and sidewalk to its original condition within 14 business days.
  2. Request for Subcontractor Information: If this work was performed by a third-party contractor, I demand that Xfinity immediately provide the name, contact information, and liability insurance policy details of that subcontractor so a direct claim can be filed.
  3. Regulatory Reporting: I have initiated complaints regarding this unauthorized excavation with hubNashville (Metro Codes), my Metro Council Representative, and am escalating this to the Tennessee Public Utility Commission (TPUC) and the FCC.
If Xfinity does not reopen this matter and provide a concrete resolution timeline by August 27, 2026, I will obtain independent repair estimates and pursue full financial recovery, up to and including filing an action in Davidson County Small Claims Court for property damage, naming both Comcast and your subcontractors.
I expect a prompt response from a corporate property damage adjuster.
Sincerely,
