Sub Contractor Liability
COMCAST/XFINITY installed a Commercial system for a neighbor. I do not have Commercial service. They ran the wire down my private road (7/10 of a mile) without any easement. (NONE). The company that does the easement work admitted they dropped the ball. The Installers admit they did the work without an easement. COMCAST/XFINITY admits they did the work without an easement, but they won't come to the table and make an offer, WHY?
Likely because they were returned $4.7 Billion to Shareholders in the Fourth Quarter Through a Combination of $1.2 Billion in Dividend Payments and $3.5 Billion in Share Repurchases. Total Return of Capital to Shareholders for the Full Year was $15.8 Billion. Big numbers and far more important that one person.
Since there is a trespass, I figure removal of the equipment is my only option. COMCAST is pulling the old "we aren't responsible...the sub contractor is" Very odd way of doing business.
