Strange/Rude Call From Comcast/Xfinity
I received a call from someone from a Comcast/Xfinity number (I know because I've received calls from the number before and I called back and talked to a nice guy named Kyle in the credit dept.) The person asked me if I had made any changes to my modem recently, to which I said no. Then he said he saw there was internet activity going on at my house and I said that's because there are people there. He paused for a moment and then asked if I was in front of my computer my computer and I told him I was at work, so he asked when I'd be home. After I told him this evening, he went silent. I said hello are you still there, he said yeah, but when I asked what this call was about and what was going on...he hung up on me.
This was a very strange and weird call and it kind of makes me worried. Is there any way to find out who made this call and what it was really about? Possibly why he never explained and instead hung up on me?

Hey there, user_uy6107! Thank you so much for taking the time to reach out to us here on the Xfinity Forums. I am very sorry for the experience with the call. The only time we would call is if there was a signal concern located, callbacks or various reason for past due balances. The sounds of this call does sound like a scam/phishing call, and they can spoof use a number that would be recognized by users. I would recommend reporting the interaction in the instructions here. Please let us know if you have any other questions/concerns, we would be happy to help!
