So far it works great, would like to see it available for all Xfinity internet customers who aren’t diamond & high speed internet users.Even better make available as your main sources of internet connection plus a 5g connection like T-Mobile home internet.

Thank you for reaching out @minitech. I absolutely love our Xfinity Storm Ready WiFi device and I am happy that you are having a great experience with the equipment. Customers do not need to be a rewards member to purchase but it is only available to Xfinity Internet customers in an applicable 4G LTE footprint and requires speed tiers at 800 Mbps and above and compatible Gateways XB7 or XB8. Here is a great link to review: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/storm-ready

As for if you were to try to sell the device you can use the Xfinity App to remove the device. After the Storm-Ready WiFi device has been removed, it can be reactivated on the same account or activated on another eligible Xfinity Internet account using the Xfinity app.

You should remove Storm-Ready WiFi from your account:

  • If you no longer want to use it.
  • Before:
    • Replacing your Xfinity Gateway.
    • Moving or transferring service.
    • Gifting your device to someone else.

To remove Storm-Ready WiFi:

  1. Sign in to the Xfinity app with your Xfinity ID and password.
  2. Go to the WiFi tab.
  3. Select View WiFi Equipment.
  4. Select Storm-Ready WiFi.
  5. Scroll down, and select Device details.
  6. Scroll down, and select the Remove Storm-Ready WiFi button.
  7. When prompted, select Remove.
