stopped receiving emails, what comcast is not telling you
OLD/PRIOR COMCAST EMAIL
Comcast is not informing prior customers with an old comcast email of this when they want to rejoin comcast how their old email account will not longer receive emails at the old email when they rejoin and they really should be informing customers of this.
8/6/26 I have confirmed with comcast/xfinity customer service that if you have an old/prior comcast email from a prior service with comcast and then you rejoin comcast you can still use your old email to send emails but you will not be able to receive emails. You need to know this before you rejoin comcast because you will not longer be able to receive emails for two-step verification. You will need to find all places that you were using your old comcast email and change to a different email. I suggest you do this before you rejoin comcast. Comcast will not tell you this. This is because comcast is no longer offering email service to new customers. To keep existing emails in your old comcast email you must login every 90 days. I say login every 30 days to be safe.

@user_jpcifi Thank you for reaching out to us via Forums. As of June 2024, Xfinity customers are not able to create new Xfinity Email (comcast.net) accounts.
If you have an existing Xfinity Email account, you can continue to access and use your existing Xfinity Email account as you do today through the Xfinity Email website. You may be prompted to log in to your account using your Xfinity ID and password.
Furthermore, in order to keep the email account active after disconnecting your residential services, you must log in using our website at least once every nine months. You can find all the information you're looking for by visiting these links:
