Stolen Xfinity Router

Hi there,

My rented Xfinity router is missing from my recently vacated apartment. I have reason to believe it was stolen- I immediately called Xfinity to report it missing/stolen and my account has been shut down. If someone does get ahold of my router, can they use it to access the internet if it was reported stolen? Thanks for helping!
