My router was stolen by my ex roommate while I was at work. What should I do as far as getting it replaced ?

@user_tj8alu I'm sorry to hear your ex-roommate took your modem. Don't worry, I can submit a ticket so we can have it removed from your account. You may use our Xfinity hotspot signal to stay connected while you get a new device.

To find your nearest hotspot, go to xfinity.com/wifi and enter your zip code. Once you are at the location, follow the instructions at xfinity.com/wifi to join the hotspot.

Please send a direct message by clicking the chat icon in the upper right corner of the page, click on the pen and paper icon, then enter “Xfinity Support” in the “To” section.

Thank you. Yes please. Submit a ticket  for me  how long does it take to have modem replaced? What other steps do I need to take. Or do. To get this done asap

@user_tj8alu You're welcome. It can take up to 3-5 days for you to receive one via U.S mail. The other option would be for you to pick one up at any Xfinity store near you today.

You may use the Xfinity app to find the address to the nearest location. Please send the DM so I can submit the ticket and get this missing/stolen modem taken off your account.

@user_v0aw0y I am sorry to hear your package was taken off your door step. That has happened to me more than once, so now I have our Xfinity Video Doorbell to catch who it is in case anything is taken again. You would reach out to the Xfinity Assistant in your NOW portal for assistance.
